PNRR and 2027: what to check behind a project

Implementation deadlines and final payments are different milestones. Assess each investment using current documents.

Two separate dates

According to the European Commission's RRF Annual Report 2026, milestones and targets had to be fulfilled by 31 August 2026. The deadline for the Commission's final payments is 31 December 2026. These dates concern the European mechanism; they do not, by themselves, describe every works contract or all the parties' obligations.

Works continuing into 2027

If an investment originally presented as a PNRR project continues in 2027, consult the beneficiary's current documents. Check completed activities, existing contracts and the funding indicated for remaining works. Is there an official statement on continuation or another funding source? Is the procurement new or part of a contract already awarded? What do the documents say about deadlines, payments and responsibilities?

Make an informed participation decision

Treat the programme name as a starting point for checking. Base participation on current investment documents and contract conditions. Record confirmed facts and unresolved points separately. Analyse any element that remains unclear and could affect the bid before fixing the price and execution plan.

Sources and context

Sources are available in their original language. Values are estimates excluding VAT. Consult the procedure documents and published clarifications before participating; statuses are not synchronised automatically.

Prepare the next step for your bid

Send the notice reference, submission deadline and available documents. We will agree the services and work schedule.
